Question 1

What kind of scooter is this?

Accepted Answer

We rent stand-up electric scooters with two wheels, handlebars, and a deck. We also offer Onewheels, which are electric boards with one central wheel. If you need a moped, motorcycle, or seated mobility scooter, those are different services.

Question 2

Can our group mix scooters and Onewheels?

Accepted Answer

Choose your first ride and quantity, then use Add Onewheels or Add scooters under Mix scooters and Onewheels. You can request up to six vehicles at one address online. For a larger group, give us a call.

Question 3

What are the rental prices?

Accepted Answer

Scooters are $59 for 4 hours, $79 for 8 hours, $69 per day for 2+ days, or $235 for 7 days. Onewheels are $89 for 4 hours, $109 for 8 hours, $99 per day for 2+ days, or $335 for 7 days.

Question 4

Where do you deliver?

Accepted Answer

We bring your rental to you and pick it up anywhere in San Diego County, at no added delivery charge. Book online where available, or call us to arrange another address in the county.

Question 5

What happens after I submit a request?

Accepted Answer

Send us your plans and we'll get in touch to confirm the equipment, time, delivery, and payment details. Your reservation is only confirmed once we agree on those details with you.

Question 6

Who can ride a scooter?

Accepted Answer

The person booking must be 18 or older. Scooter riders must be at least 16 and carry a valid driver's license or instruction permit. For riders ages 16-17, arrange parental consent and supervision before booking. A motorcycle license is not required for this type of scooter, but an ordinary state ID alone is not enough. Ask about Onewheel rider eligibility separately.

Question 7

Can I ride on the beach boardwalk?

Accepted Answer

No motorized riding is allowed on the specified Mission Beach, Pacific Beach, Mission Bay, and La Jolla Shores walkways. This covers rentals and privately owned equipment, including Onewheels. Coronado and Port-managed areas have separate rules.

Question 8

What equipment is included?

Accepted Answer

We bring a helmet, lock, and charger with your scooter, and show you how the controls work. Onewheels come with a helmet, protective gear, charger, and an introduction to the board. Ask us about the available model and fit before booking.

Question 9

Do I pay online or need a security deposit?

Accepted Answer

The request form does not collect card details. We confirm the final amount, payment timing, and any applicable security hold before you book. Do not include payment card details in your message.

Question 10

What is the cancellation or weather policy?

Accepted Answer

We'll go over cancellation, refund, and weather terms with you before you book. Ask us to include them with your confirmation, and call as soon as you know your plans need to change.

Question 11

Can I book today or early tomorrow?

Accepted Answer

Choose a time in the form or call us to discuss it. Same-day requests start at 10 AM, and after 6 PM the earliest next-day request is also 10 AM. Call about an earlier start. All times use San Diego's Pacific Time, and we'll confirm equipment and delivery before booking.

Question 12

How much battery range can I expect?

Accepted Answer

Tell us about the ride you have in mind so we can discuss battery use. The model, rider weight, hills, wind, and speed all affect range. Rental hours are different from battery life, so leave enough charge for the trip back.

Question 13

Can I take the rental inside a theme park or museum?

Accepted Answer

Check with the venue before booking. Places such as the Zoo, SeaWorld, and USS Midway restrict recreational equipment, so we can discuss pickup before your visit or you can arrange approved storage. Our rentals do not include admission or replace seated mobility equipment.

Question 14

How do pickup and extensions work?

Accepted Answer

We agree on pickup before you leave. Call us if you want more time or need a different address, and we'll check availability and any added price. Ask permission before leaving equipment with a hotel or venue.

Question 15

Do you offer guided outings?

Accepted Answer

Yes. A guided outing is $59 per person for 2 hours, with at least 2 people. Tell us what interests you and we will confirm the route, timing, and inclusions together. Ask for a separate quote for private or custom outings.

Question 16

What if I need help during the rental?

Accepted Answer

Stop somewhere safe and call the number on your confirmation. We can help you work out what to do next. Keep damaged equipment stopped and leave repairs to us. In an emergency, call 911 first.
